Bit by bit
One of my favorite analogies when it comes to understanding why it is crucial to take things step by step when overcoming big challenges, comes from food rituals. How you eat a cake or a quiche if you prefer savory over sweet, is not in one bite, is it? Instead, you go through the process of cutting it into pieces. And just like a cake or a quiche, it is much more manageable and less messy, when you first break the challenge into smaller pieces. This will allows you to define ‘what’, ‘why’, ‘when’, topped up with ‘how’ you can slowly but surely tackle it and eventually move forward.
So, before you start, breath and be ready to dive into the ‘what’, ‘why’, ‘when’ and ‘how’…
